I need new dresses...

Cut out bat dress - 125 (sold out but I want it anyway)
I think the neck is too high, high necks make me look fat. Like Jessica Simpson at that Chicago thing, poor girl needs to learn that with a chest like that the neckline has to be lower.

Pixie Market

Pearl's Girl - 52.99
So sweet and cute! you can never have too much black you know

Lucky Star Dress - 79.99
So pretty! Though I hate it when dresses have premarked cups, they never fit me right and they just look silly when they don't fit. But its such a sweet colour

Rain Bow Dress - 57.99
Isnt it darling! I feel like it's something Katy Perry would wear, and she has some really cute clothes. Somethings are a bit...iffy though...

There would be more but SHOCK! HORROR! GASP! Modcloth is down!! Oh the humanity!!
Oh, the past 3 dresses were from Modcloth

gold brocade tulle corset dress - 52
So sweet! So cute! Buy me it!

Fred Flare

and now I grow weary of this searching and posting. I bid you adieu and shall talk to you tomorrow

Frenchie

French is my new inspiration.
Brigitte Bardot, Amelie, Audrey Tautou
Pastries, Marie Antoinette, Paris...

...well you get the idea
(Yes I am aware Marie Antoinette was not french born, but she is a french icon all the same)
Paris Is For Lovers - £18.00
Rock n' Rose
You can choose Bonjour, Arc De Triomphe, Eiffel Tower or Parisian Roses

Brigitte Bardot
I have decided to start rocking the beehive-ish look and the dark eyes. Fingers crossed I look like Brigitte and not Amy Winehouse

Felicity Rose Necklace - £6.00
Rock n' Rose
White roses just seem dainty and lacey and french to me.

These are all from Kitten D'Amour, a shop found only in Queensland Australia (where I live)
Its a big pricey for my tastes, so I just go in and listen to the french music they play and look at all the pretty fabrics and decor in the store and wish I had to money to buy it all!
They're all made in the country, hence the price, and so so so beautiful.

I also love croissants, and the song from the movie Anastasia "Paris Holds the Key to your Heart" which has been stuck in my head while writing this entire post.

Au Revoir!

Bedtime Buddy

Seeing as my cat doesnt like to snuggle, I need a new Bedtime Buddy, preferably something odd and kitsch. I found...$16 Narwal plushes
Everyone loves a narwal. They're the unicorns of the sea! These are very cute, though real narwals are scary horned whales that live in the ocean, and nothing terrifies me more than the ocean...

found here
I've spoken about the GIANTmicrobes before, here is herpes plushes. Ain't they sweet?
In that infectious never-leaving disease way of course

And that's really all I could find that I liked. Of course theres all those Domo and Gloomy Bear and Hello Kitty and related things, but I don't really like them. Not my styyyyyyyyyle.

In other news, today we sold our house (we being mother, sister, grandma and I) and we shall be moving in 8 days to a new house with a pool! Just in time for summer too.

Well, that's all from me. Hope all you Americans had a good Thanksgiving and such, and everyone else had a good regular non-eventful Thursday like I did.

Ciao!

Bear Sleeping Bag?

How ridiculous! I still kinda want one though. It comes with the warning that it is not the artists responsibility if a bear attacks you, or a hunter hunts you. Fair enough..I guess...

Amazing Make Up!

These amazing pictures were created for World Sight Day on October 8th, and they are fantastic!

The last one is my favourite. She looks like a superhero!

World Sight Day is all about spreading awareness of avoidable blindness in the world, and what you can do to stop it. Its on the second Thursday of October. Women are at a greater risk of developing blindness, and two-thirds of the blind are women or girls. 90% of blind people live in low income countries and 80% of that blindness is avoidable.

So next World Sight Day, organise with your friends to donate some money, an operation to restore sight only costs $10!
Or if you can't wait til then, you can visit Vision 2020, and donate now.

Thats all I have to say for the moment, apart from, have you seen how much stuff there is with peacock feather on it at the moment? Oh my gosh, it seems to have sprung up overnight!

Ciao!

flu = fading

I appear to be getting better, however I forgot when you're sick all you do is sleep! I slept for something like 11 hours last night and didn't even realise! Shocking.

My friends have been talking about moving out, which has prompted me to look at all sorts of darling home decor. (I think I use darling too much...)Pink Wall Mount Cuckoo Clock - $16.00
I don't even need to move out to need a reason to buy this, I don't have a clock in my room and I never know what time it is. This is just too cute, I must have it!!
Alice In Wonderland Stretched Canvas Wall Art - $25.00
I love Alice In Wonderland, though I never completely enjoy it when she's not wearing a blue dress...though this does look a bit like the 1999 version which had all real actors which was also a great movie...so I want to hang it in my room.
On a different note, I CANNOT WAIT until the new Alice movie comes out. I was a little worried how twisted Tim Burton was going to make it, seeing as Alice is a pretty messed up story as it is, but I like the direction he seems to have taken it in. And Alice is played by an Australian, which is always nice :)

All found at Plasticland

The Fancy Feline Pillow - $85.99
once you look past its RIDICULOUS PRICE, you see it for what it is. THE GOSH DARN CUTEST PILLOW I HAVE EVER EVER SEEN! I'm not saying someone should buy me one, but if you have one just lying around and you need to find it a home, I GUESS I could take it...

Common Cold Soap Dispenser - $9.99
If you hadn't seen these cute little guys before, they're part of the GIANTmicrobes range. This guy makes the microbes into cute little plushes, and now soap dispensers! I would never stop washing my hands if I had this! I also love the kissing disease plush, West Nile, and red and white blood cells :)
Itty Bitty Kitties Mug - $11.99
Naww look at the kitties! ...Thats really all I have to say about this one

Modcloth
That's all I can find! If you know any websites with more kitsch and cute stuff like this, pleeaaasseee comment me with the address! I've decided kitsch is my new style. It works well because nothing actually has to match!

Ciao!

So Maybe I lied

Here are some delicious pics from Spring 20103.1 Phillip Lim has actually disappointed me with this collection. In my opinion these are definently the best of his, but really, He is usualy so much better. Shame on you Phillip Lim. SHAME!Karen Walker, I love you. Even when your models are wearing silly hats, and mismatching patterns, and ugly shoes. I want I want I want!!!Alexander McQueen is really good at creating looks that are both terrifying and beautiful. Like these. Aren't they pretty? Never mind that they LOOK LIKE BUGS! And those shoes are freaking me out completely. Congratulations sir, mission accomplished.

Absence

Sorry sorry sorry for being absent for the past...long time. My laptop died and I couldn't remember the necessary passwords to get into the necessary programs and UGH its been a nightmare.

I might be posting a bit more now, seeing as I'm home with the flu and not going to Tafe or parties or anything of the like.
I would have liked to go to a fundraiser on friday for my old school, someone set a fire to the admin block and everyone has gotten ever so upset about it, as it destroyed part of the centre for our old principal who passed away :(

But enough of this depressing nonsense, on with the blooooooooog

Chantecaille's new Lumière de Rose. Isn't it charming? Oh how I love glitter. It can be used as an eyeshadow, lip tint, blush or you can blend it with foundation or concealer and be only slightly glittery (not for me, I like my glitter drag-queen-esque). If I had the money I would totally buy it, just for the darling rose compact.

Overalls. Why oh why do people want to wear overalls. Look at them, these are DESIGNER overalls, and they still look awful. If it wasn't for that cute little shirt I might boycott Ralph Lauren (no I couldn't do that). I just do not enjoy them in the slightest.

And thats all I can be bothered with

Ciao!

Diggety Dawgg

Hello Hello
Well I went out for the first time the other night. It was a terrifying experience. I question the integrity of a 30 year old man who goes out and gets drunk at 6pm on a Tuesday Evening. I learnt my lesson though, always go out with a male in the group. Makes me wish I knew this before my friends and I organised a girls weekend...
Oh well. My friends got me the best presents! I got a charm bracelet with all personal charms, INCLUDING one thats engraved! But enough about me, how was your Melbourne Cup night?

I need a new swimsuit, and I stumbled upon this one by Mark Fast. It's so ornate, which is of course completely impractical, but looks so darn pretty! Also, I think its just the angle, but those shoes are so darn hideous...I think I've seen them before looking better, because I see a glint of promise in them
So 90s grunge it brings tears to my eyes. This girl is far too skinny in my opinion though, and you can really tell when the girls model swimsuits. This is by Hervé Léger by Max Azria. He picked a strange makeup choice, all his models look a bit washed out and pale...Oh Lacoste, like a breeze on a summers day, you bring the cheekiness that swimwear deserves. Love the shoes, love the hair and hat, love the strange belt, love love love it all. They had a huge selection of BRIGHT YELLOW swimmers, but the photos were a bit all over the place and my brain isnt working enough to figure out how to put them all up
I probably wouldnt like it as much without the skeleton thing, which really just proves the importance of accessorising.

Well thats all I have the energy for
Coast weekend tomorrow! YAYYYYY
See you all in 3 or so days!
